Intensive Russian Attacks Eliminate Power Throughout Kyiv

Power facilities targeted in the region
The country's energy systems have faced increased strikes in the past few days

Throughout the evening, Moscow's missile and drone strikes have caused power cuts in multiple districts of the capital city, the Ukrainian capital.

Several individuals were hurt while local people in eastern neighborhoods were left without electricity and dealt with disruption to water systems, according to local authorities.

Simultaneously, a minor was fatally injured in a separate Russian drone strike in the Zaporizhzhia area in the country's south-east, based on information from local officials.

Moscow has increased strikes on energy facilities over the past few days, while the country's government has requested "real steps" from allies to increase pressure on Moscow.

"What's needed is not window dressing but decisive action - from the United States, European nations and the Group of Seven - in supplying protection systems and implementing restrictions," mentioned in a social media post.

Officials stated that numerous aerial vehicles and more than 30 missiles struck energy facilities, labeling such strikes as "cynical and calculated" and against "everything that sustains normal life" as temperatures become colder.

Government representatives said Russia was "launching a major assault" and maintenance teams were striving to fix the damage.

A wave of strikes struck power facilities and apartment buildings in the capital.

Several of the people injured in the assaults on the capital have been taken to hospital, as confirmed by local officials.

The strikes follow nights of air raids in the region, parts of which are currently controlled by Russian forces.

The whole nation is in a state of readiness for hypersonic Kinzhal missile strikes, which are harder to detect.
